PURPOSE:To make it possible to cut off an action of transmitting rotation to a ratchet, even by pulling a paper, by providing a clutch having both ends of a coil spring engaged with the ratchet and a driven body on a driving shaft continuously rotated, and connecting a feeding roller to the driven body by a one-way clutch. CONSTITUTION:A clutch 6 comprises a ratchet 17 engaged with an armature 16, a coil spring 18 and a driven body 20, and a driven body 27 is connected with a feeding roller 7 by a one-way clutch 28. The armature 16 is retracted from the ratchet 17, the clutch 6 is maintained in a power-transmitting state, and the driven body 27 is intermittently rotated. A coil spring 30 is rotated in a direction for reducing the diameter thereof by friction with a cylindrical part 29, and a paper 3 is fed by the feeding roller 7. When the paper 3 is pulled under a power cut-off condition of the clutch 6, the coil spring 30 is permitted to slip on the outer periphery of the cylindrical part 28, so that the ratchet 17 is not rotated. Therefore, when a controlling boy is operated, an operation can be performed at high speed, and paper feeding is speedily performed. |
