PURPOSE:To prevent adhesion of lithium and provide smooth and continuous operation by manufacturing all parts except for a punch, which are directly in contact with lithium with ultra high molecular polyethylene having a molecular weight of 3,500,000 or more in lithium electrode manufacturing equipment by which a lithium sheet is punched. CONSTITUTION:In lithium electrode manufacturing equipment by which a lithium sheet 5 is punched with a punch 2, adie 1, a punch 2, a fixing plate 4, a tip 6a of knock out pin 6, guide rollers 9 and 10, and a drawing roller 11 are directly in contact with lithium. These parts except for the punch 2 are made with ultra high molecular polyethylene having a molecular weight of 3,500,000 or more. The ultra high molecular polyethylene is commercially available as a molding material such as, for example, ''New Light'' of Sakushin Industrial Co. By using this material, 100,000 or more of lithium electrode is continuously produced. |
