PURPOSE:To obtain a material for a dust core with high magneticpermeability by a method wherein, after amorphous magnetic alloy powders are surface- treated by using a complex coupling material and the powders are pressurized to shape a prescribed form, the formed powders are heat-treated in the atmosphere of an inert gas at a temperature of 100 deg.C-550 deg.C. CONSTITUTION:After an insulating film for amorphous alloy powders to be used as magnetic powders is formed by using a complex coupling material and the powders are pressurized to shape a prescribed form, the formed powders are heat-treated. The heat treatment is executed in order to remove the strain of the alloy powders and to relax the structure; this treatment is indispensable to eliminate the secular variation. The temperature for this heat treatment depends on the composition; it is better to execute the heat treatment for 30 min-4 hr at a temperature which is by 50$-120 deg.C lower than the crystallization temperature. Regarding the atmosphere for this heat treatment, the oxidizing atmosphere is not preferable because the amorphous powders are oxidized easily. The most suitable atmosphere is an inert gas such as argon, nitrogen, hydrogen or the like. |
