PURPOSE:To remove a change-over valve which causes contamination with various germs by using a motor with a clutch brake as a driving motor for a fixed delivery pump. CONSTITUTION:The motor 1 with the clutch brake is used as the driving motor and coupled with the fixed delivery pump 3 while its rotating speed is adjusted by a speed reducer 2, thereby operating the pump. This motor 1 stops in an extremely short time and reaches a constant speed immediately at the start of the pump 3. Consequently, a 99kg mixture (10:1) of lactose and starch is charged in a fluid bed granulating device, air of 90 deg.C is blown at a current velocity of 60m<3> per minute to make the mixture flow, and spray liquid of 40 deg.C is blown to this fluid bed. The spray condition is so determined that 500ml liquid a minute is blown intermittently 70 times by each of spray guns from three pumps 3(500ml) coupled with the motor 1, thereby performing granulation. This charging is repeated by five times and then the device is cleaned for 30min by circulation with purified water.
