PURPOSE:To obtain uniform electric chargeability without using a wasteful electric charge controlling agent by providing an electric charge layer having the uniform chargeability on the outside surface of a toner base body without contg. the charge controlling agent. CONSTITUTION:After raw materials such as chip-like resin and powder coloring agent are thoroughly mixed with a mixer, etc., the mixture is kneaded in a molten or softened state so that the raw materials are uniformly dispersed. The mixture is cooled and is then pulverized to particles which are classified to obtain the toner base body. A resin, coloring agent, powder charge controlling agent, etc., are uniformly mixed in parallel with said stage and are thoroughly kneaded in a manner that these materials are uniformly dispersed in the resin. The kneaded matter prepd. in such a manner is further pulverized to the particles which are classified to form the charge particle. The toner base body and the charge particles are thoroughly mixed to stick the charge particles 2' onto the outside surface of the toner base body 1' and the mixture is weakly pressurized, by which the charge particles 2' are press-welded to the surface of the toner base body 1'. The resultant toner is uniformly dispersed with the charge controlling agent, by which the toner is uniformly charged without having the unevenly charged electric charge. |
