PURPOSE:To avoid mis-reception by registering plural hold transfer opposite destinations in advance and displaying the name of a key telephone set name of the transfer destination in case of transferring an incoming call for holding. CONSTITUTION:A holding transfer destination name is inputted by using a ten-key 4, a CPU 7 codes it in the inside of a key telephone main body land registers while being stored in a memory 8 and a holding transfer destination name is described in an opposite destination registration list 2 to complete the registration. In transferring the incoming call, a hold button 5 corresponding to the desired opposite name, the CPU 7 reads the corresponding coded name to send a coded signal from the memory 8 to the hold transfer destination via an I/0 control section 9 and the master set 10. In the key telephone set at the hold transfer opposite side is accessed by a CPU7 for the received coded signal while accessing a character generator 11 and displayed on a corresponding LCD display section to each telephone number of a destination display board 3.
