PURPOSE:To improve the movement performance such as the steering responsiveness by arranging an engine in the rear part from the center shaft of a differential gear and connecting a clutch device and a speed change device through an intermediate gear, onto a power taking-out gear installed in the intermediate part of a crankshaft. CONSTITUTION:In the front wheel part of a vehicle, a differential gear 3 is arranged concentrically with the center axis of a tire 4, and a rack pinion type steering device 6 is arranged in the rear part of the differential gear 3. An engine 12 is horizontally arranged over the steering device 6 and a steering shaft 7 aslantly extending upwardly at the back of the steering device 6, namely in the rear part from the center shaft of the differential gear 3. A power taking- out gear 14 is installed in the intermediate part of the crankshaft 13 of the engine 12, and an intermediate gear (reduction gear) 15 arranged in front of the gear 14 is meshed with the gear 14, and said intermediate gear 15 is meshed with a power receiving gear 16 of a speed change device 18.
