PURPOSE:To obtain a wide roof consisting of a door and a sheet by installing a stay member on the both side parts of a car body roof so as to be pulled out and pivotally installing the upper edge of the door at the rear edge part of the stay member and installing a flexible sheet onto the car body roof so as to be pulled out. CONSTITUTION:After a back door 7 is opened upwardly to a horizontal position, the right and left stay members 9 are pulled in the back direction of a car body from the inside of each closed cut surface 4 on the both sides of a roof panel 2, and then a sheet member 14 is pulled out in the supported state between over the stay members 9 in the rear direction of the car body from the case of a taking-up device 13, and a roof is constituted from the sheet 14 and the back door 7. Since, in this case, the closed cut surface 4 extends in the longitudinal direction of the car body, over the whole length of the car body, the long stay member 9 and a guide member 8 can be arranged in the closed cut surface 4, and each pulling-out length of the stay member 9 and the sheet 14 in the rear direction of the car body can be secured sufficiently.
