PURPOSE:To attain sure and quick refuge guidance in case of emergency by providing a display means receiving presence or absence information and displaying visually the presence or absence state for each extension to a private emergency information equipment. CONSTITUTION:In case of a fire occurred, when an information start circuit 32 starts an informing circuit 31, extension telephone sets 21-2n are connected sequentially switchingly to the talking circuit 31 and a call signal is sent from a call signal source 310 to each extension telephone set. Simultaneously, a display control circuit 34 receivers call information of each extension from the informing circuit 31 and fetches presence information of each guest room via a reception circuit 33 from an interface circuit 11 of an exchange 1 and applies call display and presence display for each extension line onto display lamps A, B in an extension state display device 35. Thus, it is not required for a sender of emergency notice to pay attenuation to guest rooms where no guest exists and the emergency informing state is monitored only for the guest rooms where guests exist.
