PURPOSE:To stop a motor at a given track position without oscillation by providing an excitation mode between the excitation modes of the given track position and the excitation the position one track before the given. CONSTITUTION:The excitation mode of a specified target track N is assumed to be an mode AB, and the excitation mode of a track(N-1) to be an mode AB'. Mode A is provided at an intermediate point between the track N and the track(N-1). A stepping motor is driven by setting the intermediate position of the mode A to be a target first, and the rise is slowly performed. Besides, by switching the mode to the mode AB, the motor is driven to set the specified track N to be the target. In this manner, the motor is driven little by little in a plurality of steps, and so an over-shoot is not generated, and the motor is stably controlled within a short time at the position of the given track N. |
