发明名称 MAGNETO-OPTICAL RECORDING ELEMENT
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve corrosion resistance and to prevent the deterioration in magneto-optical characteristic by incorporating prescribed ratios of one kind or composite additive selected from a 1st component and 2nd component into a perpendicularly magnetized film formed by selecting Gd and DY as a rare earth element and Fe as a transition metal and mixing the same at prescribed ratios. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic layer 3 is laminated via a 1st dielectric layer 2 on a substrate 1 for the disk of a magneto-optical recording element and a 2nd dielectric layer 4 and a protective layer 5 are formed thereon. This magnetic layer 3 is formed of the magnetic alloy film having the atomic compsn. ratios expressed by formula I. Said alloy film contains the composite additive consisting of Cr as the 1st component and one kind selected from Ti, Ag, Sb, and Cu as the 2nd component at <=15atom% ratio with respect to the magnetic film. The nucleus generating magnetic field HM, coercive force HC and saturation magnetic field HS in a Kerr hysteresis loop are made substantially the same at the temp. above 100 deg.C and below the Curie temp. Tc of the alloy film.
