摘要 PURPOSE:To improve corrosion resistance and to control respective magnetic fields and coercive force so as to prevent the deterioration in magnetic characteristics by incorporating prescribed ratios of a 1st component and 2nd component into a perpendicularly magnetized film formed by selecting Gd and Gy as a rare earth element and Fe as a transition metal and mixing the same at prescribed ratios. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic film consisting of an amorphous magnetic alloy having the axis of easy magnetization in the direction perpendicular to a magneto-optical recording element is formed and the magnetic alloy film is made of the atomic compsn. expressed by formula I. This alloy film contains the composite additive consisting of one kind selected from Cu and Ti as the 1st component and one kind selected from Ag, Sb and Ni as the 2nd component at <=30atom% with respect to the alloy film. The nucleus field HM generated by nucleus, coercive force HC and saturation magnetic field HS in a Kerr hysteresis loop are made substantially the same at the temp. above 100 deg.C and lower than the Curie temp. Tc of the alloy film. A 1st dielectric layer 2 and a magnetic layer 3 are laminated on the substrate 1 for the disk of the magneto-optical recording element and a 2nd dielectric layer 4 and a protective layer 5 are formed thereon.
