PURPOSE:To simplify the input and its processing for calculation of a matrix by processing each element of an input matrix as a single code. CONSTITUTION:A display device 5 consists of a graph display part 6 and a status display part 7. A ROM 10 stores various programs and a CPU 11 controls various calculation and other blocks based on those programs of the ROM 10. A RAM 12 contains a variable memory group 13, an array memory group 14 and a general-purpose RAM 15. The power ON/OFF operations, the input of calculation formulas and execution of various instructions are carried out with operations of keys of key input devices 3 and 4. The CPU 11 processes each element of the matrices supplied from devices 3 and 4 as a single code.
