摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the measurement accuracy of a flow line rate and to monitor the difference between an inflow and an outflow practically by processing the output signal of a flowmeter arranged on an excavating muddy water flow line and a sensor for detecting the upward/downward movement of a ship body. CONSTITUTION:A paddle sensor 8 measures the muddy water level theta of mud flowing in the flow line 6 and outputs an electrical signal. The concentration rho and viscosity etaare applied thereto to find the flow rate Qo by a processing block 13. A riser pipe 4', on the other hand, is suspended by a tensioner 10 and a potentiometer 11 provided to a sheave 9 detects the operation quantity thetac of a telescopic joint 4. The signal thetac is processed by a block 15 to obtain a corrected flow rate Qc, a block 16 finds a real flow rate Q'o, and further digital filtering 17 is carried out to obtain a flow rate Q''o after the influence of the upward/downward movement of the ship body is removed. Furthermore, a flow rate Qi is found from the rotating speed N of a muddy water pump 2 and an offset value Qf is calculated 21 under the command from a console 22 automatically so that the difference QD=Qi-Q''o is zero, thereby displaying the difference QD on 23.
