PURPOSE:To improve the practical use performance by certainly maintaining the used state as a table by the insertion of a locking rod into through holes, in the constitution in which a part of the seat back of a seat acts as the substitute of a table. CONSTITUTION:When the table state is to be obtained, an operating lever 5 is pulled upwardly to tilt a back arm 4 to the max. limit forwardly. Then, a cam 23 is pushed by a lever 26, and the operating lever 5 is turned around a shaft pin 20 through a link 22, and the supposed line state is generated. Then, the operating lever 5 is pushed down from the supposed line state, and a lock lever 9 is turned against a spring 29 around a shaft 10 through the link 22, cam 23, and the lever 26. Therefore, a lock pin 30 is released from the recessed parts 31 and 322 superposed each other, and then an upper arm 7 is turned to the horizontal state. Then, the upper arm 7 is locked by the intrusion of a locking rod 43 into through holes 33 and 34 in the case when the through holes 33 and 34 on the both arms 6 and 7 coincide.
