The oven has a rectangular outer housing and a similar inner housing enclosing the cooking space with the gab btween them divided by the heat protection plate from the rear wall of the outer housing into two separate chambers. The first of these lying to the rear of the heat protection plate containing the HF oscillator and the second chamber lying to either side of the cooking space containing a conrol device. The device contlors both the microwave oscillator and radiant heating elements projecting into the cooking space from the rear wall of the oven.
