PURPOSE:To obtain a battery in which quick charge-discharge is made possible, discharge voltage is flat, and cycle life is long by using a composite of conductive polymer and inorganic chalcogenide, or conductive polymer and inorganic oxide as a positive electrode. CONSTITUTION:A polymer of aniline or pyrrole, or a copolymer of aniline and pyrrole is used as the conductive polymer. Titanium sulfide, molybdenum sulfide, tantalum sulfide, chromium sulfide, or vanadium sulfide, their amorphous substances, or their mixture is used as the inorganic chalcogenide. Cobalt oxide, vanadium oxide, chromium oxide, tungsten oxide, or manganese oxide is used as the inorganic oxide. The content of the conductive polymer in the positive composite is limited to 10-90 wt.%. |
