PURPOSE:To attain small size/thin profile/light weight for a driver of its own and small size/thin profile/light weight in entire system as well through the omission of a transmission mechanism such as a gear by using an ultrasonic wave motor as a drive source of the titled automatic antenna. CONSTITUTION:The ultrasonic wave motor consists of a piezoelectric vibrating body 4 and a wire wound mobile body 5, and the vibrating body 4 is formed by sticking a discoid piezoelectric substance to a discoid elastic body concentrically and the mobile body 4 is in contact with the elastic body face. Moreover, a wire is fitted to the mobile body 5 and the other end of a wire 3 is fixed to a wire wound mount 6. Thus, in driving the mobile body in a direction, the wire 3 is wound on the mobile body 5 to reduce the length of the antenna. In driving the mobile body 5 in the opposite direction, the wire 3 is released from the mobile body 5 and the length of the antenna 1 is prolonged. The mobile body 5 is placed in contact with the vibrating body 4 and a two-phase AC voltage is impressed to the piezoelectric body to drive the mobile body 5 to wind and release the wire to apply the driver and the entire system for small size/thin profile/light weight. |
