PURPOSE:To output only image data containing no unnecessary data, by outputting the image data by performing fetching processing on a photo-electric sensors corresponding to bits which are higher and lower than the bit of the central photoelectric sensor of a scanner and summed number of whose data is smaller than a previously set value. CONSTITUTION:Image data fetched from a scanner 1 are inputted to 1st processor 12 and an integration circuit 13. The circuit 13 individually integrates the data of each bit of one line quantity of image data. A judging circuit 14 respectively calculates parts which are lower than first a fixed values of bits that are higher and lower in rank than the central bit part of the image data in accordance with the integrated result equivalent to one line and positions P1 and P2 of the photoelectric sensors of the image data corresponding to the calculated parts. Only the image data between the two points P1 and P2 calculated by the judging circuit 14 of the image data stored in a temporary storage device 15 are transferred from the 1st processor 12 to a storage device 16. After transferring, the integration circuit 13 is cleared. By repeating such operations, only necessary data can be stored in the storage device 16. |
