PURPOSE:To accurately detect the presence or the absence of a photosensitive body unit and a photosensitive body with a simple constitution by setting the rotational direction of a take-up shaft to the direction opposite to the rotational direction of a scroll drum and using an encoder to detect the rotating state of a driving motor in case of driving them. CONSTITUTION:If the photosensitive body winding-up operation is performed without releasing the ratchet device of a supply shaft 28 in case of clockwise rotation of a driving shaft 45 when the photosensitive body is set, the photosensitive body is not wound up and a motor 48 is not rotated because a take-up shaft 29 is in the unrotatable state. Since a sleeve 42 cannot be rotated clockwise by a one-way clutch 43, locked scroll drum 21 is not driven though this driving is tried by the rotation of an input shaft 30. Since the driving shaft 45 is not rotated, the motor 48 is stopped, and this stop state is detected by an encoder 50, and it is confirmed that a photosensitive body unit 20 and the photosensitive body are mounted in a good state. |
