摘要 PURPOSE:To simplify the operation of an excavator by a method in which the vehicular height is designated from an initial height setter, an excavation height is designated from an excavation height setter on site, and the angle of arm is controlled and displayed on an excavation height displayer. CONSTITUTION:An excavator is run by designating an optional vehicular height HS from an initial height setter 12 before traveling, and on a target site, a desired excavation height HSET is designated from an excavation height setter 39. By an arm angle control mechanism 40, arm angle alphan is controlled to be HP=HSET, where HP is the height of excavation. A desired excavation height HSET is automatically set on the target site and the excavation height HP is displayed on an excavation height displayer 16. The excavation height can thus be set automatically to a set value quickly and exactly.
