PIEZOELECTRIC CERAMIC RESONATOR

PURPOSE:To hold both functions of band pass filter and trap with a simple constitution, to improve the characteristic as an equipment and to reduce a cost by providing a band pass filter and a piezoelectric ceramic vibrator to the pattern part of a printed board. CONSTITUTION:Input/output and earth lead terminals 8, 9 are soldered to the electrode lead of the printed board 7 to fix them. Then a piezoelectric ceramic vibrator 10 as a rectangular square band pass filter having a slit 10a at the center and four electrodes at both sides of the slit is provided to the pattern part of the board 7. Then the piezoelectric ceramic vibrator 11 as the rectangu lar square trap having an electrode at front/rear sides in a longitudinal direction is connected electrically and mechanically by using an electric conductive adhesives or solder 12 together with the vibrator 10. Thus, both the functions of band pass filter and trap are provided with the simple constitution and the characteristic as the equipment is improved and the cost is reduced.
