PURPOSE:To make it possible to decrease a phosphor composition ratio without lowering luminous brightness by using luminous constituents, as phosphors, which contain grains formed by fusing a phosphor with sulfate of alkaline earth metals and which have luminous peak wavelengths within specific ranges. CONSTITUTION:Sulfate of barium, strontium, calcium, and the like, which are alkaline earth metals, is mixed with a phosphor in the range of 5 wt.% to 95 wt.% and fired to form granular luminous constituents, and so these luminous constituents are used as luminous materials in a phosphor film. This phospher film contains the following luminous materials: a blue light emitting material having a luminous peak wavelength in the range of 430 nm to 475 nm, a green light emitting material having a luminous peak wavelength in the range of 520 nm to 560 nm, a red light emitting material having a luminous peak wavelength in the range of 595 nm to 630 nm, and a blue-green light emitting material having a luminous peak wavelength in the range of 480 nm to 500 nm. Thus, the amount of using phosphors can be much decreased.
