PURPOSE:To coat an article surely with a heat-shrinkable fluororesin tube at a relatively low m.p., by coating the article to be coated with the heat- shrinkable fluororesin tube with a fluororesin primer whose m.p. is lower than that of said fluororesin in advance. CONSTITUTION:A surface of an aluminum roller is treated with sand blast and then spray-coated with a primer containing 44wt% tetrafluoroethylene- perfluoroalkylvinylether copolymer (m.p.=320 deg.C), which is fired at 320 deg.C to form a primer coating. A heat-shrinkable tube consisting of a tetrafluoroethylene-perfluoroalkylivinylether copolymer whose thickness is 50mu is thereon applied and fixed by shrinking at 150 deg.C from an end by means of a hot spray gun. Finally, this roller is put in an electric oven and fired at 300 deg.C to coat surely with the heat-shrinkable tube. |
