PURPOSE:To enhance the effect of demonstration to a great extent, by providing a specification setting means, a priority storage means, a demonstration document information memory, and a demonstration document printing control means. CONSTITUTION:A printing mechanism is so constructed as to print characters for a plurality of languages. The specifications by countries of a printer are set through a specification setting means, and demonstration document information for a plularity of languages is previously stored by every language in a demonstration document information memory. Moreover, in a priority storage means, the priority of the languages with the first priority of the language set in the specification setting means is stored. In the printing of a demonstration document, the printing mechanism is controlled by a demonstration document printing control means, and the demonstration document information is printed so that the priority stored in the priority storage means can be realized. Therefore, a demonstration suitable to the national sentiment of users in each country can be carried out. |
