PURPOSE:To detect the energy of a laser beam easily and accurately, by making a laser beam pass through an integrating sphere while a part thereof is reflected within the integrating sphere with a laser beam scattering mirror. CONSTITUTION:An integrating sphere 1 has an input port 2 and an output port 3 to make a laser beam 4 pass between the input port 2 and the output port 3. A laser beam scattering mirror 5 is mounted within the integrating sphere 1 to reflect a part of the laser beam 4 within the integrating sphere 1. Then, the laser beam 4 reflected with the laser beam scattering mirror 5 is scatteredly reflected on the inner surface of the integrating sphere 1 to homogenize the energy of the laser beam 4. A laser detector 6 is mounted on the integrating sphere 1 and detects the energy of the laser beam 4 thus homogenized. |
