PURPOSE:To obviate the necessity of tuning for each type of vehicles by setting the magnitude of an initialize signal in such a way as to have a functional relation with a magnitude corresponding to a vehicle speed. CONSTITUTION:A set initialize signal preliminarily set up in proportion to a vehicle speed is outputted to an actuator (d), thereby making set initialize control. Then, small initialize calculation is made in S11. The magnitude of the small initialize signal is set up to improve responsiveness at acceleration after the resumption of the operation of an accelerator switch (f). Furthermore, tap-up initialize calculation is made in S5. The magnitude of the tap-up initialize signal is set up for increasing a vehicle speed finely by resuming the operation of the accelerator switch (f). As aforementioned, the magnitudes of the small initialize and tap-up initialize signals are so set as to have a predetermined functional relationship with the magnitude of the set initialize signal corresponding to a vehicle speed related thereto.
