PURPOSE:To simplify the attaching/detaching work of a driving device by storing the driving device in a case to be attached/detached to/from a floppy disk device and electrically connecting a connector to the floppy disk device through the driving device and a cable. CONSTITUTION:The driving device 2 consisting of a step motor or the like is stored in a frame 1 to rotate a floppy disk inserted from an insersion port 3 formed on the front face. The connector 10 connected to the driving device through the cable and partially extruding to the rear side is fitted to a rear plate 5c. A connector 15 fitted to the floppy disk device A can be connected to the connector 10 the case 4 side by loading the floppy disk drive to a drive receiving part of the device A. Consequently, the driving device can be attached/ detached to/from the floppy disk device by one-touch operation and the replacing work can be attained within a short period.
