The invention relates to a rotary heat engine. This engine is characterised in that it uses an incompressible liquid, as replacement for the connecting rod, for transmitting the power of the explosion along the tangent of an eccentric E. The 4 strokes are united in admission-compression (using an independent compressor), and in explosion-expansion-exhaust. During the explosion, the liquid receives the pressure which is then transmitted to all the walls and particularly makes the eccentric E rotate. The movement of the piston P is epicycloidal: it allows expansion and the extended action along the tangent of the groove of the eccentric E. The engine assembly comprises an eccentric E, a ring C, a sleeve G, a cylinder F and its piston P; the spherical ring D of the eccentric E with a projection H forming a piston is placed in a groove. The engine combines the qualities of power, high efficiency, and high rotational speed. <IMAGE>
