PURPOSE:To obtain stably a fine visible image at all times by using a specified styrene-butadiene copolymer as a binder and adding modified polyolefin wax so as to lower the minimum fixing temp. as well as to provide sufficient anti- offsetting properties. CONSTITUTION:A styrene-butadiene (S-B) copolymer contg. >=10wt% high mol. wt. component having >=1 million mol.wt. is used as a binder, and a coloring agent, other components and about 1-20wt% wax of a polyolefin block- or graft-copolymerized with an aromatic vinyl monomer (modified PO) are added. By adding the modified PO wax to the S-B copolymer having characteristics as a binder, the minimum fixing temp. is lowered while keeping the offsetting causing temp. high. The modifying component having an affinity for the binder reduces the stickiness and increases the flowability. The copolymer has high noncoagulability and superior shelf stability. Thus, high developing power and transferability are provided, and a fine visible image can be obtd. |
