PURPOSE:To momently display the progress state of all jobs on a system console device at reel time by analyzing and sorting various events generated at the time of outputting the result of a job on the basis of the input of the job, converting the event information into a prescribed format and outputting the converted format to the system console device. CONSTITUTION:An event control means 12 receiving the information of an event indicating the generation of a job forms a new entry record. Values are set up in a job number column, a job name column and progress state column of the entry record. Job generation is set up in the advancing state column. When a dynamic display start command for job execution states has been already inputted, the event control means 12 informs the display of the job progress state to a job progress state display means 14. Receiving the information from the means 12, the means 14 reads an event control table 13, converts the contents of the table into a prescribed format and outputs and displays the converted format to the system console device 15.
