PURPOSE:To improve the quality of clad steel by providing an air exit on a stock sealing assembly body, performing the specific exhaust by a vacuum pump, the pushing a plug into the air exit. CONSTITUTION:A clad steel stock assembly body is formed by a base metal 1, mating material 2 and spacer 4 and an air exit 5 is provided on one part of the base metal 1. The opening end of an exhaust jig 11 connected to a vacuum pump is connected to the air exit via a gasket 12. In this case, a plug 13 for closing the air exit 5 is set at the tip of the plunger of the jig 11. The vacuum pump is actuated, the inner part of the stock sealing assembly body is exhausted until the specified vacuum degrees and with continuing the exhaust the plug 13 is pushed into the air exit 5 by a pushin lever 10. Since the remaining of air between the base metal 1 and elading material 2 is eliminated, the formation of oxidized scale is prevented. Consequently the quality of the clad steel plate of an adhesion, etc., is improved. |
