PURPOSE:To obtain the titled drug preparation which hardly releases the drug component in gastric juice and rapidly dissolves in intestinal juice and releases the drug component, by mixing a drug component with hydrolyzed prolamin and tableting the mixture by conventional method in high moldability. CONSTITUTION:A drug component is thoroughly mixed with a hydrolyzed prolamin (e.g. zein), preferably a substance produced by hydrolyzing a prolamin with an alkalin mixture of water and alcohol (having an alcohol content of 70-95%) and having a molecular weight of 500-5,500. The obtained mixture is tableted by conventional method. The tablet produced by the above process exhibits excellent properties by simple tableting and can be used as it is.
