PURPOSE:To prevent originals from being damaged in an image forming device with no gathering device provided, such as copying machine, by arranging so that gathered transcript sheets in a plurality of copies are obtained even though any separate gathering device is not furnished, aud thereby compacting the construction of device. CONSTITUTION:After transcription, a transcript sheet is led to a fixing device 322 by a belt 17 and fixed there to be exhausted to outside the machine. At the time of two-side copying or multiple copying, the copied transcript sheets are led to a pedestal 200 by lifting a sheet exhaust flapper 33 of the body 100 and stored on an intermediate tray 59. The transcript sheets stored on said intermediate tray 59 are led to a resist roller 15 of the body 100 via a path 58 one after another from below through the action of a sheet feed roller 51 and a weight 53. They are transported circulatively so as to be returned to the intermediate tray via multiple paths 57-2. On the way of this circulative transport, transcript sheets are exhausted to an exhaust tray 70 one after another so as to be mating with each original. This circulation and exhaust is repeated until the transcript sheets on the tray 59 go out, and then a gathered copy is exhausted.
