A safety arrangement comprises a bolt with a locking mechanism 24 which is adapted so as to be capable of being received on a shoulder 21 close to the end of the bolt. The locking mechanism 24 comprises a shoulder cap 26 and a nipple cap 27, between which a spring member 36 is mounted, which is formed with gaps which make it possible for the end of the bolt to be inserted into it while the spring 36 is deflected, after which the spring locks itself firmly in a groove 19 in the bolt. <IMAGE>
