PURPOSE:To effectively recover heat from waste heat low in temp. difference, by absorbing the steam generated from fresh water heated by waste heat to an aqueous calcium chloride solution and subjecting the solution raised in temp. to indirect heat exchange with a heat demand source. CONSTITUTION:An evaporator 1 and an absorbing device 9 are once evacuated using the vacuum pump 18 connected to the evaporator 1 through a pipeline 8 and, thereafter, a predetermined amount of the calcium chloride solution stored in a solution tank 12 is injected to the calcium chloride powder 11 in the absorbing device 9 through a liquid diffusing nozzle 15. At the same time, waste heat is transmitted through the heating coil 2 in the evaporator 1 to evaporate steam from fresh water and said steam is continuously absorbed to the calcium chloride solution and the melting of a powder is accelerated by the heat generated by absorption. Since the temp. in the absorbing device 9 becomes higher than the temp. of the fresh water by the quantity corresponding to an elevation of the boiling point of the solution, the temp. of the fluid recirculated to a heat recovery coil 10 can be made higher than the temp. of waste heat. |
