PURPOSE:To restrain the outflow quantity of liquid to a minimum, even in the case of breakage of a pipe-line, by providing a branch line in the course of the pipe-line in which liquid flows, and always supplying gas having a pressure equal to that of the liquid flowing inside the pipe line into this branch line. CONSTITUTION:A branch pipe 2 is provided in the course of a pipe-line 1 in which liquid flows in the direction of arrow, and at the part where the branch pipe 2 is connected to the pipe-line 1, a nozzle 3 is provided. In the branch pipe 2, a gas vessel 4 for storing pressurized gas, and a gas supplying device 5 by which gas is supplied to the gas vessel 4 are provided. If breakage occurs in the pipe-line 1 and the liquid in the pipe-line 1 flows out from the broken place to decrease the pressure of liquid flowing inside the pipe-line 1, the gas inside the gas vessel 4 is blown out through the branch line 2 into the liquid flowing inside the pipe-line 1. As a result, the liquid flowing inside the pipe-line 1 becomes gas-liquid two phase current, and flows outside the pipe from the broken place of the pipe-line 1.
