PURPOSE:To effectively implement an intelligent processing system and a control processing system in an intelligent automatic machine and to execute the processing of both systems under an well balanced state by driving two CPUs included in a base processor element like one processor. CONSTITUTION:In a processor constituting a single processor or a multiprocessor to control a machine, a base processor element 1 constituting the processor is provided with local memories 18, 20, to CPUs 15, 16 dividedly processing the intelligent processing system and control processing system of the machine,a dual port RAM17 to be accessed from the hooked CPU out of the CPUs 15, 16, and a common bus switching circuit 24 for connecting either one of two CPUs to a common bus 12 which can be used for both the CPUs. When the control processing system executes highly advanced and high load kinematic control arithmetic processing such as rapid control and dynamics control under the support of the intelligent processing system based on sensors or a knowledge base, functions such as sensing inference and leaning can be obtained and an intelligent automatic machine such as an intelligent robot can be controlled. |
