PURPOSE:To restrain slip and enable making a small turn by using a front wheel differential gear as a speed-increasing mechanism for an outer front wheel in turning. CONSTITUTION:When a steering wheel has been operated and a front wheel steering angle has exceeded a set value in turning, a clutch 8a or 8b corresponding to the inside of a turning circle turns to the OFF condition. At the same time, a brake device 10a or 10b works for braking and a front wheel 1a or 1b inside the turning circle falls in an idle turn condition. And the front wheel 1b or 1a outside the turning circle is driven at a double speed and, therefore, it becomes easy for a car to make a small turn.
