PURPOSE:To prevent a dangerous condition by a method wherein a using pattern of a gas supplying system having a gas meter installed therein is measured for a fixed time by a starting signal, its maximum value and initial value are compared with each other to reset a fixed value as a proper using condition. CONSTITUTION:When a starting signal is applied to a timer 13, counting for a fixed time is started, and simultaneously a gas using pattern during the use time is measured by the operation of a use condition memory means 15. That is, measured actual values of total flow rate, respective maximum flow rate and continuous using time and the like are revised during the time, the maximum data is sent from the gas proper use condition varying means 16 to the setting part 12 simultaneously with the completion of the timer. In the gas proper use condition setting part 12, an initial condition and the final data are compared to make a new setting of a fixed gas proper using condition. Subsequently, in the abnormal condition discriminating part 9, the new setting condition and a signal from the using condition sensing part 6 are compared with each other and when it exceeds the condition, it is judged as an abnormal condition and the cutoff means 4 is operated. |
