PURPOSE:To reduce the moisture absorption amount of a coating material and to decrease the diffused hydrogen in a welding metal as well and to improve the conservation for long term by providing the resin film in specific thickness on the surface of the coating material. CONSTITUTION:A coating material 3 is formed on the surface of a core wire 2 and a resin film 4 is formed on the surface of the coating material 3. The mixture of an arc stabilizer, gas generater, slag former, deoxidizer, alloy additive, binder, etc., is used as the coating material 3. For the material of the resin film 4 various thermoplastic resin and heat hardening resin are used. With the electrode of this composition the maintainability is improved. |
