PURPOSE:To provide a guard which can be easily mounted and dismounted and which is capable of securing a certain distance from a cooking oven of built-in type and also safety sufficiently by providing a guard which has the same dimension in its width at the front face of a main body and in its height and which is formed out of a wire material and bending a potion of the guard to hook it to the gap between a handle and a door. CONSTITUTION:A built-in type cooking oven 9 is installed to the sink 8 of a system kitchen, and into the handle 13 of a grill door for broiling fish the bend section 12 of the one end of the guard 11 is inserted. The lateral width 9 of the guard 11 is equal to the lateral width 1 of the built-in type cooking oven 9. The height (q) of the guard 11 is safe enough if it stands lower than a work top 12. And, since in order to protect the hands of a user from the hot air from the grill door 10 there is a gap (k) between the grill door 10 and a handle 13, the dimension (r) of the bent section of the guard 11 and the dimension (s) to hook the bent hooking section 14 are determined considering the gap (j) and the gap (k) of the handle 13 and the work top 12. With this arrangement an inexpensive guard which secures safety and is easy to mount or dismount is provided.
