The push-button switch (key switch, momentary-contact switch) has a key (2) which is acted on by a leaf spring (11). The leaf spring (11) is clamped against opposing bearings (abutments) (14, 15), which are fixed to the housing and fixed to the key, by means of its centre region (13) and its side regions (12). Outside the side regions (12), projections (16) are arranged on the leaf spring (2), which projections (16) can be pivoted by elastic bending of the leaf spring (11) and, as moving contact elements, interact with mating contacts (7, 8) which are fixed to the key and/or fixed to the housing. <IMAGE>
