<p>A beam has flanges (1, 2) of wood and a zigzag formed beam web (3) of metallic rod material. Bent regions (12) on the beam web (3) are accommodated and fixedly cast by means of plastic bodies (9) in recesses (5) in the beam flanges (1, 2). The recesses (5) have rounded contours and greater width than the thickness of the rod material, and their end walls (6, 16, 17) are transversely directed or undercut in relation to the longitudinal direction of the flanges. A method of producing the beam comprises the steps of forming the beam web (3) and providing the flanges (1, 2) with the recesses (5). The flanges (1, 2) and the beam web (3) are aligned in relation to one another in that rods (4) in the beam web which are directed towards the bent regions (12) are brought into contact with guide edges (11) on the flanges (1, 2) in or at the recesses (5), and the flanges (1, 2) are tensioned towards one another so that they, together with the beam web, form a unit. Plastic is poured into the recesses (5) and is allowed to cure and set so that the plastic bodies (9) are formed in and fill the recesses (5).</p> |
