Novel processes for bonding a transparent polycarbonate substrate to another polycarbonate substrate employ a visible light curable ashesive composition consisting essentially of: (1) one or more polyfunctional acrylic monomers; (2) an elastomer (e.g. an acrylic rubber or chlorosulphonated polyethylene rubber) or a polyfunctional aliphatic urethane acrylate polymer or oligomer; and (3) a catalyst or photoinitiator activatable by visible light. Such a process can be used for binding or sealing polycarbonate vehicle headlamp assemblies
