Implements for levelling in particular clay tennis courts provided with marking strips are equipped with a brush support which is drawn by hand, extends transversely to the direction of movement and whose bristles, present on the underside, slide over the court ground to be smoothed. In order to be able to sweep clear the marking strips (14) at the same time using such a smoothing implement, the brush support consists of a plurality of brush discs (3) which are lined up in the manner of lamellae on a common brush-support axle (2) and mounted thereon so as to be individually rotationally movable, and which are in each case to be driven individually, when travelling over the marking lines (14) giving rise to lower ground friction than the remaining court ground (15), to a rotational movement which shoots forwards in the direction of movement (17). <IMAGE>
