The invention relates to a kneading machine for dough with at least one kneading arm which is arranged in a kneading bowl and can be made to rotate by means of a drive which is composed of an electric motor and a gear system. The kneading process is simplified and improved by arranging above the kneading bowl a filling hopper with an allocating device which is arranged downstream, can be driven by means of the drive and feeds a uniform flow of the material to the kneading bowl during operation of the kneading arm.
