In a device for fastening a cover section of an all-foam seat part to a retaining part foamed in in the region of a groove let into the all-foam seat part, a stylistically perfect, low-cost fastening base is provided when the groove is arranged to run through continuously on the underside of the all-foam seat part in the form of a seat cushion, and retaining elements on which the cover section is supported with prestress project away from the retaining part, opposite to the pulling direction of the cover section.
