Heat exchanger with mixing effect, especially for fluid substances with a cylindrical or trough-shaped, heatable and coolable housing and at least one stirrer rotating in it with heatable and coolable plates attached on the shaft, characterised in that the plates are arranged on the stirrer shaft at an angle of up to 45@ with respect to the axis of the stirrer. These plates placed at an angle, in addition to the rotation, produce an axial pushing of the product back and forth, whereby this intense movement of the material increases the heat exchange. The transport movement of the product is produced by stirring bars arranged on helical lines on the external diameter of the plates. <IMAGE>
