An attachment for household vacuum cleaners for the marginless and shadowless removal of local liquid-soluble dirt from textile fabrics is proposed, in which the soiling, which is partially dissolved by conventional liquids, is sucked out of the fabric into a paper felt, the evaporated solvent being trapped in an exchangeable activated charcoal filter.
